Herons on Branch Bronze (1200-0913)
by Currey
Mimicking a grand classic found in many Japanese gardens, the Herons on Branch Bronze sculpture is beautifully lifelike and evocative. Their open beaks and long legs are hyper-realistic, and their head, neck and wing plumes are so delicately rendered they seem to be fluttering in the breeze. The driftwood on which they are perched is equally naturalistic.
